Faculty in Classical Music. She had been working in All India Radio, Trivandrum as an Artist. Disciple of eminent teachers and mentors such as Padma Sree Neyyayinkara Vasudevan , Sri Adr P Sudarsanam , Dr k Omanakutty , Prof G Seethalekshmib etc . She put up many a scintillating stage performance in classical music , having had the unique experience in the domain.
R PARTHASARATHY VARMA hails from Mavelikara, Kerala. Having earned his Diploma in Fine Arts from Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, he has had an illustrious career and has made commendable contribution to the State Exhibition of Art, conducted by Lalithakala Academy in 1988, 2013 and 2014. He has also participated in the exhibition conducted at Thrissur Lalithakala Academy Gallery in 2015 and has left an eternal impression on the State Artistic Camp held in 2013 by the Lalithakala Academy. During his artistic endeavour, he assumed many prominent roles in the various art shows and exhibitions that he had participated in. He continues to function as a freelance artist, sculpturer, poet, sociocultural activist and conducts expert classes in drawing and painting for the enthusiasts.
ANILKUMAR KG has the special distinction of having a 5-year National Diploma from Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts ,Mavelikara. His contribution to the field is unparalleled as is evident from the fact that he has to his credit 23 years of experience, being active in the field since 1994. Over the last two decades, he has participated in several camps conducted by the Lalitha Kala Academy, and has organised innumerable painting exhibitions and art camps across the country. He has served as the Director and Art Instructor at the CKRA Institute of Fine Arts.
Saji is a Trinity music grade 5 artist with 30 years' experience. He has been performing on TV, radio and stage for the past 25 years and is a regular on the judgement panels of various youth festivals at both school and university levels. We believe that his vast experience would prove decisive in transforming naïve rookies into elegant performers.
Jobin Samudra is a multi –faceted studio & Touring Drummer. He teaches students on Percussion. Being a professional drummer, he is skilled at his craft on rhythms, percussion & Music and also played with many well-known musicians and performed at live shows. His drumming style is mostly paramount to Heavy metal, Funky Style, Latin & Progressive rock. He played as a Bass Drummer in world class famous Show of A R Rahman- “Jai Ho”. He achieved his 4th Grade in Drums from London Trinity College of Music .He was a Kerala university winner on Drums, 2007, And won in Kerala state School Youth Festival – 2004.
Adv. Ragam Anoop the founder of Rhythms is an accomplished stage performer and choreographer. Her mastery in bharathanatyam, mohiniyattom, kuchipudi, kathak, Kathakali, ottanthullal and mono act is undisputed. She has received many awards and recognitions including the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy best actress award and Monisha award for Bharathanatyam. Starting young at the age of 2-1/2 years, she has been tirelessly chiseling her skills, and has been devoted to performing art ever since. She has a sound academic background in performing art that includes an MA in Bharathanatyam from Kumararani Meena Muthiah College, Chennai. Her insight and values form the core of Rhythms.
Sarath Kumar is a well-known keyboard player with a decade's experience in teaching on Trinity syallabus. His prodigy comes out from the fact that he is self taught. Live performance is his passion. Choreography is his other area of interest with both western and Tamil folk styles being his forte. He has found his niche in contemporary style which is substantiated by the growing number of live performances that he is a part of.
Ashok Kumar Chengannur, an experienced Tabla performer of a dignified ancestry, has been in the field of music teaching for more than 45 years. His father, the Mridangam maestro Nanukkuttan, has been an inspiration and guiding light in his long music career. His mother, Pankajavalli, belongs to the golden ages of the Malayalam film industry; she is one among the most revered heroines of the industry. Shri. Rani S Mohan is a classical dancer with about two decades of experience in performing mohiniyattam and bharathanatyam. Winning Kalathilakam in Keralolsavam 2002-2003 for showcasing exemplary performances in Malayalam elocution, monoact and kathaprasangam was the cornerstone in her life and the launchpad for her future endeavours. Winning the MG University youth festival awards for kathaprasangam, monoact, mohiniyattam and bharathanatyam competitions catapulted her to the national level where she represented Kerala in the National Integration Camps held in 2003 and 2004.
Biju is a violinist with over 20 years' experience in both carnatic and western forms.A disciple of Guru Attukal Balasubramaniam, he has mainly focused on fusion music in his career with more than 1000 stage performances. He is an experienced guru with 10 years' experience in teaching music. Rhythms is the platform where he propagates his knowledge and experience to the next generation.
